Strategic Account Manager - Architectural Lighting Solutions £££ High Basic + Uncapped OTE + Car / Allowance

Reporting to the UK Managing Director the role will be focused on obtaining new specifications for lighting products primarily with Lighting Designers, Architects, and Interior Designers. 
There is an existing contact list to manage, as well as a new targets and a number of “live” projects at varying stages to take on and progress.
This is a new position, which represents the company’s push to expand and maintain the current growth in sales throughout the UK. They are seeking an exceptional individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strategic focus and who will bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm into the business.
As an experienced Lighting Professional, you will join the team and be expected to create, enhance and develop relationships with the key targets identified. You will be based at one of the Company locations with regular travel to the London Showroom / office, meeting clients for both UK and International Projects. They are looking for someone to be more than an employee, who is keen to progress their career within a company that has a lot of potential, a superb reputation, and a great dynamic team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Report to the UK Managing Director
•    Help contribute to the team annual sales budget. Through the development of specifications for both UK and International Projects.
•    Presenting personal progress and opportunities at the monthly management meetings. 
•    Drive sustainable business growth through Long Term relationships and trust with Clients.
•    Meet targets and KPIs.
•    Represent the company in negotiations with customers, suppliers, and other key contacts.
•    Build a high level of knowledge of the product range.
•    Understand company's capabilities and what makes them different in the market.
•    Continue to build company reputation for providing great technical advice and solutions to customers.
•    Present the product range to new and existing customers.
•    Keep the products at the forefront of customers minds.
•    Listen to customers feedback on products and relay this back to the design team.
•    Keeping up to date with industry trends and potential competitors

Candidate Requirements Qualifications & Experience:

•    Possible experience at sales manager level.
•    Strong lighting industry knowledge and contacts are necessary.
•    Lighting product experience 
•    Proven track record of achieving sales growth.
•    CPD Seminar experience
•    Highly self-motivation and a desire to succeed
•    Experience of selling products overseas would be advantageous, related to export regulations and standards.
•    High commercial acumen, with the ability to negotiate and agree terms at all levels.
•    Good IT skills.
•
